Practice makes Perfect Trust ..

Well I am just about done with my finals I just have a presentation today and then I turn in my paper in and YES! It's over.....Actually I am not so thrilled cause I really did enjoy this semester of classes, "I never thought I would say that." But it has bee a very good semester, let me recap,
Lets see this semester I did my fare of traveling, I went to Indiana, Gatlinburg TN, California, and wait that's it but next semester I am going to ITALY! Yep for a class....I played soccer for the first time ever, I worked on the website at my school a lot more, it was my fist semester being and RA, I made lot's of new friends, and I have awesome roommates! It was overall a joy, believe me it wasn't perfect by no means, but what's the fun in that?....

.....Seriously I had a great talk with my friend Becca last night about life and stuff, and I was sharing with her something that God continues to teach me everyday...You know everyone has problems and some greater then others but when we do go through little obstacles in our day those are blessings, because God is just molding us and shaping us...I know thats sounds so cliche, but it's so true how much God prepares us for the future by placing troubles in our lives. See all the little problems will bulid in us a character trait of peace and patience. If we go through life with no real problems and then one day something huge is thrown at us, we would probably completely crash because we have not had practice with trusting God. I truly pray that God would continue to throw obstacles in my everyday life, so that I may be better prepared for the many challenges I am going to have when I have a husband and kids some day. You can not get better at anything in your life with out having practice and that's what challenges are in our life their just practice and practice makes perfect trust in God....I love this quote..."Our passions are not too strong, they are too weak; we are far too easily pleased" -CS LEWIS

Hey Bobs - I am still flying high after our conversation last night. Sometimes God allows you to talk to the right person at the right time to encourage you in all the ways you need it! You have been that person for me many times...God has truly blessed me with a friend like you who knows how to "keep it real." I am just feeling the Lord's presence in my life in big and small ways, and loving every second of it! See ya next week!
