Is it to early for Christmas?

I was at Starbucks this morning, go figure, and I overheard a couple talking about how Christmas has come out to early this year; “let’s have Thanksgiving first" they said. If you have stepped one foot into Starbucks lately you know what they mean. The whole place is decorated for Christmas and they even have Christmas music playing throughout the cafe.

Well personally I love it, I do not think it is too early for Christmas! But hey I am one of those big goofs who is playing Christmas music in my office already and getting peppermint mocha almost every morning...Hey why not? This time of year comes only once a year and why not celebrate it for two months instead of one? Plus it is all about the "Spirit of Christmas" anyways. A state of mind really, we should be merry, and spreading joy all year round, celebrating Christ's birth, but I know that through the hustle and bustle of the season that tends to get left off our Christmas priority list.

So I leave you with this challenge, it's for myself as well...Make today a Merry day, A time of Peace, and Spreading Joy, not because of what you have or what is to come , but because Christ was born and from this supernatural event we have eternal life!
